In order to support the development of new products from the ZeKat Group digital division (Ercogener, Lucio, fly4u, IoF) and the development of complete connected solutions, we are looking for an Embedded Software Developer. Reporting to the Technical Director and in conjunction with the software and hardware teams as well as the support and sales teams, he/she participates in the development of new products/solutions and their marketing. He/She ensures compliance with our quality requirements in software development.

The main tasks:

– Software specification

Develop specifications
Define technical solutions
Develop and support system architecture choices
– Software development

Ensure documentation and low and high level hardware / software development (compliance with development cycles)
Support the development of strategic software bricks
Verify embedded software (Unit tests, integration on electronics and validation)
Ensure the technical consistency of the software developed and compliance with the technological roadmap of the software business
Ensure compliance with Software Quality requirements and state-of-the-art software development
– Support for software choices

Participate in the choice and implementation of tools and methods to ensure technical control of developments
Ensure permanent Technological Watch
Skills required:

Embedded C/C++ (drivers, middleware and application)
C/C++ under embedded LINUX would be a plus
Knowledge of communication protocols (TCP, UDP, MQTT(S), HTTP(S), LoRaWan, Sigfox) would be a plus
Control of the constraints linked to the embedded system (limitation of performance, real time or not, limitation of memory space, etc.)
Familiar with software configuration management and software technical fact management tools (GIT, JIRA…)
The taste for teamwork
Technical English (reading Datasheet, …)

Your profile :

From BAC+3 to BAC+5 training in Software Development or Electronic Development, you have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position. Junior engineers can apply subject to solid theoretical knowledge.

You are familiar with low-level developments on microprocessors and microcontrollers and are able to intervene in all stages of a development cycle.

You have good interpersonal skills and a strong taste for new technologies.

Dynamic, rigorous and organized, you know how to work independently and have a real culture of results.

The position is based in Saumur, Angers or Toulouse with the possibility of partial teleworking.
